The game publishes a designated penalty order. 61 players currently carry one, and a first-choice taker is worth more than almost any statistic on this page. Here are the first-choice takers, ranked by their attacking output so far.
Expected goals and assists.
Expected goal involvements combine expected goals and expected assists. Compare total output with the per-90 rate, keeping each player's minutes in mind.
Who actually plays.
Regular starts and sustained minutes give a player more opportunities to return points. Check playing time alongside attacking and defensive output.
Defensive contributions.
Tackles, interceptions, clearances, blocks and recoveries, per ninety minutes. A scoring category in its own right this season, and published free.
Points per million.
Total points divided by the current price in millions. A simple view of returns for your budget; past points do not guarantee future returns.
