Who we are
Fantasy Formbook is an independent fantasy-football website. Contact Fantasy Formbook at support@fantasyformbook.com about privacy, support or this notice. This notice explains the information used by the website and its optional alerts.
Information you choose to provide
For alerts, we store your email address and/or Telegram username, public FPL entry ID, signup source, confirmation and consent records, email timing preference and delivery history. Linking Telegram adds your verified numeric chat ID. We use these details to provide the alerts you request, match reviewed news to your public squad, respect your preferences and prevent duplicate messages.
The planner stores your squad, financial inputs, planning preferences, saved plans and decision records under an anonymous browser session. Your saved plan is not automatically public. You can export it or delete saved plans from the planner. Clearing browser data may remove access to that session; an export lets you retain a copy. We never ask for your FPL password or make transfers in your FPL account.
If you choose screenshot scanning, the image is sent to Anthropic to identify the visible squad. Upload only the squad area; crop out email addresses, passwords and other private information. The application processes the image for that request and does not save a copy in its database. It caches the extracted squad text, including a visible team name, for up to 24 hours so the same image can be reused without another model call. Expired cache entries are removed by an hourly cleanup job. Derived image and network identifiers support reuse and daily usage limits; usage counters expire after at most two days. Raw IP addresses are not stored in these application records. Anthropic's processing is also subject to its commercial privacy terms; this is not a promise of zero provider retention. The public-team-ID import is available without uploading an image.
Public football information
We retrieve public FPL player, fixture, squad and league data. Public picks are deadline-locked and may not include your most recent private transfers. League tools may display public manager names, team names, standings and scores. Choosing to create or share a league card makes that card available through its share link. We also collect public club and football-news posts for editorial review. Signup details and private saved plans are not included in that public news research.
Cookies, browser storage and security
The planner uses the essential formbook_planner session cookie, with an expiry of up to 90 days. Browser storage preserves your draft between visits. The session cookie supports private access to saved plans; clearing it can remove that access. Hosting and security services process technical request information, including IP addresses and browser details. The planner uses a derived client identifier to apply abuse limits. We use this information to operate and protect the service. The current application does not install an advertising pixel or optional analytics cookie. External services opened from links have their own policies.
Service providers
Vercel hosts the website. Convex stores application records and runs background jobs. Resend delivers email. Telegram processes messages and account linking if you choose that channel. Anthropic processes optional screenshot scans. Official FPL services provide football data. Images and user-opened external content may contact their source providers. These providers may process information outside your country; their privacy information describes their own processing. Contact support@fantasyformbook.com for information about applicable transfer arrangements.
Support email is forwarded by Porkbun to our Google-hosted inbox. These providers process the sender address, message and any attachments you choose to send so we can respond to your request. Do not include passwords or private alert links in support messages.
Choices, retention and requests
Alerts start after email confirmation or Telegram linking. You can unsubscribe using the private link in an alert; it stops both channels on that subscription. Email news is grouped into pre-deadline digests, capped at two news emails in any seven days. The private preferences link explains the schedule and provides an unsubscribe option. Saved-plan email alerts require separate consent. Browsing the site does not enroll you in alerts.
Unsubscribing stops messages but does not immediately erase the subscriber and delivery records. Records are retained to honor opt-outs, prevent duplicate delivery, operate saved features and investigate service problems. Planner session access expires after 90 days; that is not an automatic deletion promise for all stored records. You can delete individual saved plans and request access, correction or deletion of personal information at support@fantasyformbook.com. Information needed to respect an opt-out or meet a legal obligation may need to be retained. Retention is assessed against those purposes rather than a universal period for every record.
Where applicable, our grounds for processing are your consent for optional alerts, providing the tools you request, and our legitimate interests in running and protecting the service. Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, erase, restrict or object to processing, receive a portable copy, and withdraw consent. We may need to verify a requester's identity. You may complain to the relevant data-protection authority; in the UK, see https://ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint/.
You can object to processing based on legitimate interests by emailing support@fantasyformbook.com. Providing contact details is optional; without them we cannot deliver alerts or reply to a support request. We do not use these tools to make automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects on you.
Material changes to these practices will be reflected in this notice and its date.
