The Formbook Score forecasts each player’s points over the next five gameweeks, shows you every part it is built from, and then gets scored in public against what actually happened. When it is wrong, that stays on the page.
Nothing has been marked yet. The first forecast covers Gameweek 5, so the first mark appears here once that gameweek finishes and the game has checked its own data. Until then this section stays empty rather than showing you a number we have not earned.
Points error compares an approximate share of the multiweek forecast with actual points for players who featured. It is not a dedicated one-gameweek projection.

Nothing here is proprietary and nothing is hidden. Every input comes from the Fantasy Premier League API, which needs no key and no account.
Minutes, first and loudest
A player who does not start scores nothing, so this gates everything else. It comes from how often he has started, adjusted for how long he stays on: finishing games counts for more than being taken off at sixty.
Output, pulled toward the average
Three games is not a sample. His expected goals and assists per ninety are blended with the average for his position, and the fewer minutes he has played the more the average wins. Early season this makes the score duller than the ones that quote you three decimal places. That is deliberate.
Fixtures, but gently
The official difficulty rating over the next five gameweeks, worth at most about a quarter either way. Fixture difficulty is real, and it is also the thing most managers overrate.
Role
Being first-choice on penalties is worth more than most statistics on any site. It is a published field and it is in the score.
Clean sheets and defensive work
For defenders and keepers, expected goals conceded turned into a clean-sheet probability, plus how often the defensive contribution threshold is actually reached rather than a flat bonus for the season average.
Where it will be wrong.
- It has not been marked yet. Until a gameweek has been scored, treat it as an argument rather than a record.
- It does not know what a manager said this morning. Press-conference news reaches the availability flag before it reaches this number.
- It cannot see rotation for a cup tie, a new signing settling in, or a fallout at a training ground.
- The range is wide on purpose. A single-number forecast that is confident about a footballer is lying to you.
